Installing the first lights!

Yesterday we made the decision to replace all wall sockets and light switches. I've already replaced all of them in appartment 2. It looks so much nicer!
I've also installed the first light fixtures. A flat round ceiling light in the bathroom. And the 'porch light' right outside the front-door.

Also nice.

I pricked my socket-tester-thingy in every power outlet and those seem to work fine too while powered. Obviously... It's just 3 wires, all in the right colors now. I truly don't understand how the previous owners could cock that up so badly.
Tomorrow I'll go through Apartment 3 again and replace the switches and power outlets there too. And attempt to install a few lights there too.

I'm making a big box with all the old but somewhat useful fixtures, maybe some fool will buy it on Facebook Market at some point, for what? 20 MXN a piece? About a dollar? There's probably someone who needs that crap. I don't know who would want painted-over power outlets or wobbly light switches. Nor do I get why anyone would want plain ceramic light fixtures everywhere. But hey, i've got it all in that box.
