Purgatory
I've made the first payment weeks ago. Paid the lawyer. He paid the government. All contracts and letters of intent are signed. A seemingly endless slog of bureaucracy and tedious waiting.
Sure I know it's happening, but it doesn't feel like it. A few days ago I got word that all government permits are ready to go. My lawyer told me. So things are supposedly happening. Now I'm waiting for the bank to finally do their thing. It's pretty much the last part in the dealmaking process. It should take no more than 2 weeks until that is done. And yet it doesn't feel real, at all.
I've collected many business cards, and listened to every one of them bullshitting their way to a sale or some kind of deal. Ranging from outlandish prices to outright scams. Promises of availability and customization options. Everyone is eager to get my money. Only few will get some.
Only two weeks of twiddling thumbs until I can supposedly get busy.
